  • Why should I consider following B Sc Honors degree offered by the Department of Plant and Molecular Biology?
BSc Honors degrees in Botany and MBBT include an independent research project giving the student an opportunity to get the taste of research. Successful completion of honors degrees provides a professional training and research experience to undertake higher degrees if you wish to do so. If a student is preferred to go for higher studies, four-year degree is a basic requirement in many countries and this will serve as a stepping stone for your next step. After successful completion of the honors degree in BOTANY or MBBT, a student should be able to,
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of concepts and principles of the area,
• Present information and ideas efficiently and effectively
• Exercise personal responsibility and leadership
• Demonstrate positive attitudes and recognize the need for social responsibility
• Identify the new developments in the area of study. Identify the need for independent learning and lifelong learning
