The fifth day of the Orientation Program started on a high note, filled with excitement and energy. With inspiring speakers and interactive sessions lined up, it was a day everyone was looking forward to!
The morning began with an amazing talk by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 and a passionate tech leader who brought a fresh wave of motivation to the audience. His session was both inspiring and informative, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗧 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆. He encouraged students to 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆.
The second session was presented by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 and he shared important information about the various services and resources available at the university. His talk highlighted 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
The final session of the day, led by Ms. Dinithi and Ms. Rupeshika, focused on communication enhancement. It was an engaging and interactive workshop that 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. Participants gained practical insights into improving their interpersonal and presentation skills, leaving them better equipped to express themselves confidently.
Through well-planned sessions and constant support, Department of Industrial Management is helping the new batch of students to build the skills they need for their future. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
