Dr. Thareendhra Keerthi Wijayasiriwardhane obtained his doctorate in Systems and Software Engineering from the La Trobe University (LTU), Australia in 2010. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) and a B.Sc. with a first class honours from the University of Kelaniya. Keerthi currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Management of University of Kelaniya. He has won number of awards and scholarships for his academic and research excellence, including the prestigious Endeavour Postgraduate Award from the Australian Government, La Trobe University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (LTUPRS), Asian Development Bank (ADB) Postgraduate Scholarship and Vice-Chancellor's Award for the Most Outstanding Young Researcher from the University of Kelaniya. As a university academic, Keerthi counts many years of experience in teaching computing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Sri Lanka and Australia. He also took part in a number of software development projects undertaken by the Centre for Enterprise Management Information Services (CEMIS), a United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) funded center to provide Information Technology solutions for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka.
