The Software Engineering Students' Association (SESA) is the official student society of Software Engineering undergraduates of the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya. Dedicated to fostering soft and hard skills development among students, strengthening collaboration, and fostering unity among students, SESA organizes series of annual events, including RealHack, Inceptio, Junior Hack, and others. These events aim to enhance students' abilities while providing opportunities for collaboration with leading IT companies, who serve as industry partners, to gain exposure and improve.

Software Engineering - the University of Kelaniya was invited by Ambilipitiya Maha Vidyalaya to hold an Exhibition Stall at their 70 years of excellence educational exhibition at Ambilipitiya Maha Vidyalaya premises.

Outbound Training Program
At Eastern Command Naval Base - Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.
This two-day vocational outbound training session was held in order to uplift the leadership skills and improve the team working ability of these young future software professionals with the help of Navy officers at the Eastern command Naval Base, Trincomalee for the all 1, 2, 3, and 4 levels.
Beach Cleaning Program
At Wennappuwa
As a Corporate Social Responsibility that has to be carried out as a responsible set of young people in this country, the SESA organized a beach cleaning program that was aimed to clean a beach area situated at Wennapuwa with the participation of undergraduates of Software Engineering degree program.
