Seeds for the Future is Huawei's flagship CSR program at the corporate level. By selecting young talents from around the world to participate in short-term trainings, global competitions and ongoing alumni activities centered around digital technology, it provides them with an important platform to understand industry innovation, experience cross-cultural exchanges, and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit.
Every year, Huawei selects exceptionally talented students from top universities worldwide. Our students have been granted this prestigious opportunity due to their remarkable talents and capabilities, representing their country in the esteemed Seeds for the Future program in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
Huawei Seeds for Future Program 2023
In 2023, Huawei offered an exclusive eight-day intensive training program on cutting-edge ICT technologies, along with a scholarship to China only for four students with the highest GPA from state universities in Sri Lanka. Ms. Helani Seekkubadu was fortunate to be one of the four students selected for this prestigious opportunity.
Huawei Seeds for Future Program 2022
Every year, Huawei brings together young global talents from top universities worldwide. In 2022, Ms. Chandima Maduwanthi had the privilege of representing Sri Lanka as a delegate at that event in Thailand.
Huawei Seeds for Future Program 2019
In 2019 Huawei offered two weeks scholarship in China for the students who are having the highest GPA in each university. Ms. Varuni Punchihewa was privileged to have this rare opportunity in 2019.
Huawei Seeds for Future Program 2018
Huawei Sri Lanka Representative Office fully sponsored 10 Sri Lankan University students to China for an ICT learning and culture trip in 2018. Ms. Rasika Vijithasena was privileged to have this opportunity.
