M.Sc.  Entry Qualifications:

Applicants should be graduates of a recognized university with one of the following qualifications 

  • B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Zoology/ B. Sc. (Special) degree in Zoology
  • B. Sc. Degree in Fisheries Biology
  • B.Sc. Degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture
  • B. Sc. Degree in Fisheries and Marine Sciences
  • Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Sciences
  • B.Sc. Degree in Marine Sciences and Aquatic Resources Technology
  • B.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition, B.Sc. in Food Production and Technology Management
  • B.Sc. (Hons/special) Degree in Applied Biology
  • B.Sc. Degree in Applied Sciences
  • B. Sc. (Hons/special) Degree in Chemistry / Botany /Microbiology / Human Biology with Zoology as a subsidiary subject
  • B. Sc. Degree in Agriculture
  • B.Sc. Degree in Food Science and Technology
  • B.Sc. in Aquatic Resources Technology, B.VSc. Degree
  • B. Sc. Degree with Zoology as a subject
  • Any other qualification acceptable to the university of Kelaniya
