The International Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE) 2023 marked its sixth consecutive year of successful execution, drawing a delegation comprising esteemed academics, research scholars, and industry experts. The conference witnessed a noteworthy participation with 193 full paper submissions from researchers representing countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, India, etc.

We take immense pleasure in announcing that Eranga Silva of the Department of Industrial Management (Batch 2017/2018) was honored with the prestigious Best Paper Award for SCSE 2023 on the 14th of February at the Vice Chancellor's office. Dr. Chathumi Kavirathna served as the research supervisor for the award-winning paper titled, "Factors Affecting the Implementation of Sustainable Practices in the Sri Lankan Food Retail Sector."
