A workshop on “R: Software for Statistical Modelling & Computing” was successfully held on 21st of July 2019 in the Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya. The workshop was collaboratively organized by the Research and Services Centre and the Department of Statistics & Computer Science. Participants were gained hands-on experience in learning the software through basics of R software, simulation with R and exploratory data analysis. The resource person contributed to this workshop was Dr. D. M. P. Dissanayaka, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya.
