The Workshop on Workshop on Handling of Earth Observatory Images and Information Retrieval Techniques using ArcGIS, which was organized by Department of Zoology and Environmental Management collaboration with the Research and Service Centre, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, successfully concluded on 14-15th February 2020.
The resource person was Dr. (Mrs) V P A Weerasighe, Department of Zoology and Environmental Management, University of Kelaniya.
A workshop on “R Software for Statistical Modelling & Computing” was successfully held on 21st of July 2019 in the Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya. The workshop was collaboratively organized by the Research and Services Centre and the Department of Statistics & Computer Science. Participants were gained hands-on experience in learning the software through basics of R software, simulation with R and exploratory data analysis. The resource person contributed to this workshop was Dr. D. M. P. Dissanayaka, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya.
