A three-day training workshop on “Drinking and Waste water analysis techniques” organized by the Research and services Center & the Department of Chemistry was conducted for the participants from different institutes. This workshop was held on 8th – 10th June 2018 at the Department of Chemistry. Participants have gained hands on experience and subject knowledge in standard water analysis techniques. Prof. Namal Priyantha of University of Peradeniya, Dr. Indrika Abeygunawardena from University of Kelaniya (Retired) and Dr. Chamini Hemachandra from University of Colombo were acted as external resource persons while Prof. J. A. Liyanage, Dr. Sri Skandaraja and Dr. Russel De Silva were contributed internally.
