Cressington 108auto

Sputter Coater

Auto Sputter Coater is ideally suited for high quality coating of non-conducting samples for standard SEM imaging. The added functionality of the automatic features enable fine grain coating on a range of samples with a choice of target materials. The automatic purge and leak functions offer consistent thickness for optimized conductive coating results. Cool, fine-grain sputtering is achieved with a very efficient low voltage DC magnetron head. The quick change target method allows a range of metals to be used.

Main Features
  • Fully automated or manual operation.
  • Automatic vent and argon purge control. In automatic mode, the digital timer can be used to give repeatable coatings
  • The efficient DC magnetron operates on a low voltage for "ultra-cool" sputtering to avoid effects on sample surface.
  • Quick target change allows for a range of materials used: Au, Au/Pd, Pt, Pt/Pd.

Hokuto Denko HAB 151

Potentiostat / Galvanostat

The HAB-151 is a compact standing-alone electrolyzing unit, intergrating a petentiostat, a galvanostat and a function (waveform) generator. The potentiostat /galvanostat part, provided with a capacity of 15V 1A and a current detecting range covering a minimum of 10A, has sufficient functions for normal electrolytic testing and corrosion testing. This part is equipped with three major functions:
  • high-input-impedance electrometer,
  • potentiostat (constant-voltage control)
  • galvanostat (constant- current control)
The potentiostat / galvanostat part is provided also with alarm functions for uncontrollableness and excess voltage as well as additional convenient functions, including external control input and current- monitor noise refection filter. The waveform generating part employs an analog circuit system that assures smooth output. This part can generate lamp waves and triangular waves having a wide-range sweeping speed from 50V/sec to 10mV/ mim, with set peak voltage of - 5V to +5V. Stop, hold and reverse can be performed easily during sweep.

Carbolite CWF 12/13

Chamber Furnace

Carbolite CWF 12/13 chamber furnace is equipped with heating elements on both sides of the chamber protected by tough alumina, providing excellent uniformity and allowing heat escape compensation. The elements consist of graded wiring, allowing fast heat up and efficiency at the customer operating temperature. The chamber entrance is built with refractory material, which is sturdy and resistant, coupled with low-density thermal insulation that improves temperature profiles.
CWF 12/13 has chamber dimensions of H200 x W200 x D325 mm with a heat-up time of 80 minutes. The maximum temperature is 1200°C; however, for continuous operation, the furnace should be used at 1100°C. Total power is 3100 watts.

Main Features
  • Free radiating coiled wire elements increase uniformity
  • Robust refractory insulation inside the chamber and around the entrance
  • Replaceable ceramic hearth useful if leakage
  • Soft Closing Door
  • Door safety switch prevents electric shock
  • Double-skinned construction allows convection airflow to cool the outer case
  • Delayed start and process timer
  • PID controller
  • RS232 and RS485 communications options

Carbolite CTF 12/75/700

Tube Furnace

Carbolite CTF 12/75/700 is a horizontal single zone furnace. Maximum temperature is 1200C, with a continuous operating temperature of 1100C. Heat up time is 45 minutes. Uniform length is 265 mm plus or minus 5c. Featuring an integral wire wound work tube of 75mm internal diameter. Maximum power consumption is 3000 watts.
For inserting gases for atmosphere and applying a vacuum a separate longer work tube can be purchased for insertion into the inbuilt ceramic work tube of the furnace. The protruding ends then can have plugs, seals or gas or vacuum adaptors added. There is also a choice of tube material with different resistance properties to prevent damage for certain applications.
