The invention is comprising of the features of automatically detecting the type of LPG cylinder placed on the device, real-time monitoring of LPG level of the cylinder, predicting the estimated replenishment date of the cylinder by considering LPG consumption, and sending notification alerts to users through a mobile and a web application about the estimated replenishment date of the cylinder. The proposed system is an AI-based smart IoT system which consists of a load cell sensor and a gas cylinder replenishment date prediction algorithm. Further, the system consists of a battery to facilitate continuous function during a failure in the main power supply and a GSM connectivity circuit for sending LPG consumption data to a remote database. LPG level sensed by the sensors is stored in the database and can be retrieved through the mobile and the web applications. Hence, with the help of this invention, the LPG suppliers can identify the gas consumption patterns of gas consumers by analysing historical gas consumption data. Since this invention provides the LPG suppliers real time updates and alerts about the estimated replenishment date and the LPG level of the cylinder placed on the device, it helps them optimize the LPG distribution.
