The Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya conducted a career counseling programme for the 4th year students of the Department of Mathematics on 11th August 2023 at the Auditorium of the CGU.  The session was conducted by Ms. R.P.A. Minoon Perera, career counselor, CGU of the University of Kelaniya.

This session was conducted under the personal progress development program of the Department of Mathematics for honours degree students. The programme's main objective was to provide students with information on career opportunities and identify required professional and soft skills. Students attempted the career Key Psychometric test and actively engaged in the session.

The program coordinators, Dr. LPND Premarathna, Dr. BBUP Perera, Dr. MHL Weerasinghe, Ms. Minoli Fernando and Mr. Ujitha Imeshan were present at the occasion.
